ON MISSION
First Baptist Church of Sedalia is committed and involved in sharing the Gospel of God's love with all people, beginning right here in Sedalia and extending to the far corners of the world. We believe that every member has a ministry in the church and a mission in the world that God has prepared for us to find and fulfill. Our ministry expresses itself in our love and care for each other in the Body of Christ. Our mission calls us to pray, to give, to go wherever God leads so that all people may know of Christ and His saving love.
 First Baptist Church has formed many mission partnerships based on the scriptural model of Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
So, week by week, year by year, we are on mission in our Jerusalem - Sedalia, our Judea - Missouri, our Samaria - North America, and to the ends of the earth - our international missions. Contact Cara Harrington for more information about current mission projects and opportunities.
